The story so far
Those irritating sprites, The Flitwizzits, have noticed my interest in finding out about interesting words and have clearly decided to be a pain in the bottom and come up with their own word-based riddles for me to solve! The little blighters. This is their initial note on the matter.

Anyhow, I have created The Gripping Gazette in my attempt to answer them!
Our world is shared with yours
We just don't go outdoors
Strange and complicated words
Are our lunch, dinner and dessert
There's no reason to fear
Our onomatopoeia
Through our timing of rhyming
We're experts at hiring
The devil's in the detail
We hope it's no travail
To solve each riddle we've picked you
(you've clearly not enough to do)
But we'll be nice and put in clues!
The Gripping Gazette is a word-led magazine for kids aged around 7-12 (although, to be honest, it's suitable for anyone as readers can gleam from it as much as they like). There's a new issue roughly every quarter. So usually 4 each year.

Every issue of The Gripping Gazette has a different focus of interest, and it's packed full with around 60 pages of interesting stuff. There's usually an interview with someone intriguing too. There'll be some new words to learn and each element of the magazine will tie-in with the overall theme of the issue.
And the best part? You'll be learning new things without realising!
